As a PM, I can control project schedule
Project managers, or any other management role (PMA, PMO, PfM, PgM), can control project schedule at CONTROL > Control Schedule, using the web application and the mobile application:


Project schedule can be controlled at the project level (work package #0), and for every detailed work package, as of the selected status date, entering these data:
- Qualitative traffic light on schedule management.
- Duration percent spent: If the work package has an Actual Finish, then it is updated 100%. If there are detailed work packages, then work package #0 value is automatically calculated.
- Short explanation by the project manager.
- Baseline Start: This field can be updated at Plan > Schedule.
- Baseline Finish: This field can be updated at Plan > Schedule.
- Planned Start: Project manager’s best estimate of start date for this work package.
- Planned Finish: Project manager’s best estimate of finish date for this work package.
- Actual Start: The day this work package actually started.
- Actual Finish: The day this work package actually finished.
The first three fields can be updated also at Health Check.

Milestones can be controlled by entering these data:
- Milestone Color: Qualitative traffic light on milestone management.
- Milestone Name.
- Milestone Description.
- Baseline Date: This field can be updated at Plan > Schedule.
- Planned Date: Project manager’s best estimate of the date to meet this.
- Actual Date: The day this milestone was met.
- Add Documentation Link: Supporting documents attached as web links. You can click the link to open it in a new web browser tab.
